Department of Toxics Wants Your Feedback
At long last, California's Department of Toxics Substances Control (DTSC) has released its draft regulations for implementing the first pieces of California's Green Chemistry Initiative and its quest for Safer Alternatives. Now, DTSC wants to hear from you. If you are in Sacramento on July 7 and 8, come raise your voice. If not, you can follow along with the webcast and submit comments via email. Final coments on the proposal are due July 15, 2010.

Write a Letter to the Editor or Op Ed!
Are you passionate about helping CHANGE protect every Californian from toxic chemicals? If so, please consider writing and placing an Op Ed/Letter to the Editor in your local newspaper, magazine or alternative weekly.

Possible Op Ed/Letter to the Editor topics:
- Suggest DTSC, OEHHA and the governor implement strong regulations for AB 1879 and SB 509 that use CHANGE's principles
- Encourage the governor to sign SB 757
- Discuss why more legislation is necessary to implement the remaining Green Chemistry Initiative recommendations.
- Write something related to any of other current environmental health bills in California
- Express concern or raise awareness about any toxic chemical exposure in your community
