We believe that there is a need for a new paradigm for addressing toxics one that is informed by the concepts of a just transition for the materials economy and that recognizes the need to address issues of economic and environmental justice while also promoting a new more just economy, one that benefits low-income and working people. We are working to develop equity based green chemistry policy and to reinvigorate our coalition with stronger environmental justice voices that can take on the long term battle to promote upstream and green chemistry solutions in communities.
